No. You buy the device once. There is no monthly fee and no account to create. Showing prices will never cost you a recurring payment.

No. Setup happens in a normal browser tab at tickrix.com/app, on a phone or a computer. There is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated.

Neither. There is no sign-up and no KYC. Your device is identified by the ID printed on its own screen, and that identifier is not linked to your name or email.

Yes. Split the screen into three rows, or give a single asset the full 480x320 panel in large digits. Unlike a scrolling LED strip, you are not waiting for your asset to come round.

The current firmware shows the price and its direction, not a candlestick chart. On a 3.5-inch panel read from two metres away, a legible number beats an illegible chart. If that changes, it arrives as a firmware update, not a new device.

That is the design brief. Large type on a 3.5-inch IPS panel, one colour per asset, so you recognise the line before you read it. Brightness is adjustable for a dark room.

No. Tickrix uses 2.4 GHz, which every home router broadcasts alongside 5 GHz. If your router merges both bands under a single network name, you may need to split them temporarily during setup.

Click the BOOT button on the device four times quickly, then hold it for three seconds. That clears the stored network and reopens the setup hotspot. Your exchange and asset choices are preserved.

Yes. The setup tool accepts a custom API endpoint, an optional API key and the path to the price field in the response, with a test button before you save.

Both exist. The USB-C version stays plugged in. The battery version runs untethered and shows its charge level on screen. The device detects which one it is automatically.

It ships from the Netherlands. Inside the EU that means no customs handling and no import charges on arrival. Outside the EU, local import duty and tax are set by your country and are your responsibility.

It keeps working. Your device holds its own configuration and talks to the exchange directly, and there is no Tickrix login attached to it. If we ever shut down, we publish the firmware so it can be maintained without us.
